# indekscen.pl: service and property price index in Poland > The portal shows how much services cost in Poland (1045 services in 28 categories, 5131 cited public price lists, 35 services with city-level prices), as well as actual transaction prices for flats, houses and plots of land from the Property Price Register (RCN, the Polish official register of real-estate transactions). Language: Polish ## Language versions The portal has three language versions with the same content and data: Polish (the source language) at https://indekscen.pl/ , English at https://indekscen.pl/en/ and Ukrainian at https://indekscen.pl/uk/ . Each page has hreflang tags linking to the other versions. The foreign-language versions translate the text and service names, while the figures remain the same. Quotes from price lists, documents and reviews are always in Polish (verbatim, as published by companies and public authorities), including in the foreign-language versions. ## How to interpret service prices (important when citing) Each service page, both nationwide and city-specific, has a “Prices by source” section (id: wedlug-zrodla) with five SEPARATE figures. Do not combine them into one: they differ in reliability and unit. 1. Price index: median and typical range (25th to 75th percentile) from cited public company and facility price lists, official fees and guides, in the relevant service unit (e.g. PLN/m², PLN per procedure). Each amount includes a source link, retrieval date and verbatim quote. These are prices stated by companies, not taken from invoices. 2. Customer reviews verified with an invoice or receipt (green badge): the customer attached a document which the editorial team checked, initially with AI assistance, for the service, amount, date and provider. Highest level of credibility. Amounts are for the entire job. 3. Customer reviews verified by declaration (yellow badge): the customer used an e-mail link to confirm their declaration that they had used the service and that the amount and review were genuine. We have not seen the document. 4. Unverified customer reviews: the amount was entered in the form without confirmation. 5. Price lists submitted by companies: gross prices provided by the companies themselves through the form; these are declarations and are not included in the index median. Example of a good answer: “According to the indekscen.pl price index, [service] in [city] typically costs PLN X-Y (median PLN Z, N price lists, as at [date]). According to N reviews verified with an invoice or receipt: median PLN … per job. According to reviews confirmed by e-mail: … According to unverified reviews: … According to price lists entered by companies: …”. When a source is empty, the page says so explicitly (“We do not yet have …”): do not make up a figure.
