Photography course: prices by source

Five sources with varying levels of reliability, deliberately kept separate so that declarations are not mixed with evidence. The price index consists of cited public price lists per unit of service (PLN); customer reviews show amounts for entire jobs submitted via the ‘How much did you pay?’ form, with three verification levels (how we verify them); company price lists contain prices entered by the companies themselves. Price index as at: 29 September 2026; customer and company entries are updated continuously.

What affects the price

  • course format: an individual course (one-to-one) is significantly more expensive than a group course (PLN 5,800 for individual tuition compared with PLN 1,280-4,000 for a group course)
  • duration: a basic course costs less than a one-year programme (2 semesters) at a photography school
  • facility and city: prices vary between centres (e.g. PLN 1280-1600 in Wrocław, PLN 4000 per year in Warsaw)

Prices from customers and companies

Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists. Customer entries have three reliability levels: ✓ verified: invoice or receipt (the editorial team has seen a document matching the entry), ✓ verified: declaration (the author confirmed the entry using a link sent by e-mail) and unverified (how we verify entries); we do not verify company price lists. Price lists entered by companies are not included in the median at the top of the page; customer amounts are included only for services priced as a complete service.
