indekscen.pl terms of service

Effective from the date the service was launched. Last updated: 3 October 2026 (three levels of submission verification, attachment retention rules, preliminary document analysis by an automated tool).

§1. Service provider

The indekscen.pl service is operated by Online Marketing Help sp. z o.o., ul. św. Filipa 23/3, 31-150 Kraków, KRS 0000786528, NIP 6762566163 (the "Publisher"). Contact: kontakt@indekscen.pl. This address also serves as the point of contact within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act).

§2. About the service

The service presents indicative prices for services collected from publicly available sources (company price lists, official fees and publications) and user submissions. Prices are for information only, do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code and do not replace a contractor's quotation. The method is described on the "Methodology" page.

§3. Using the service

Browsing the website is free and does not require registration. All you need is a web browser with JavaScript enabled (for the search engine and forms). Providing unlawful content and automatically downloading data in a way that places a burden on the website are prohibited.

§4. Submitting prices and price lists

  1. A user can report the price paid for a service (‘How much did you pay?’), while a company representative can enter the company's service prices (‘For businesses’).
  2. The submitter declares that the information is accurate and, in the case of a price list, that they are authorised to act on behalf of the company.
  3. The entry (service, amount, locality, service date, rating, description, contractor's name and website, if provided) is published automatically upon submission and marked as “unverified”. For a quick review (photo of the document and rating), the Publisher determines the amount, date and contractor from the document and the public VAT taxpayer register (using the NIP); fields that cannot be read with certainty remain blank for the author to complete, and the author may amend the entry for 60 days after adding it. The Publisher may hide an entry if it is spam, an obvious error, contains third-party personal data or unlawful content. The Publisher does not edit entries, charge for their publication or removal, or treat entries differently based on their sentiment.
  4. An entry may have one of three reliability labels, described on the How we verify page:
    • “unverified”: the author did not confirm the entry either via a link in an email or with a document;
    • “verified: declaration”: the author provided an email address and clicked the link in the message sent to that address, confirming their declaration that they used the service and that the amount and review are genuine. The label is assigned automatically when the link is clicked; in this case, the Publisher does not check any documents;
    • “verified: invoice or receipt”: the author attached a receipt, invoice, bill or written quote, and the Publisher checked that the document matched the entry (service, amount, date, provider). This label is assigned exclusively by the Publisher.
  5. The author declares that they used the service described and that the amount and review are genuine. The publisher states whether and how it ensures that reviews come from consumers who actually used the service: this is ensured only for entries marked "verified: invoice or receipt". For entries marked "verified: declaration", the publisher has only confirmed that the author has access to the e-mail address provided and has submitted a declaration; for unverified entries, the publisher does not check anything.
  6. Attachments (receipts, invoices, bills and quotes) are not published and can only be viewed by the Publisher. An automated language model-based tool may perform a preliminary analysis of the attachment by reading the amount, date, issuer and line items and comparing them with the entry. The decision to award a verification badge is always made by a member of the editorial team. The Publisher retains the attachment as proof of verification for as long as the entry is published, but may delete it at any time, including for technical or cost reasons, without affecting the badge awarded. The author may request deletion of the attachment by writing to kontakt@indekscen.pl; deletion does not remove the badge from the entry.
  7. The company price list (name, city and service area, description, website, telephone number, and services with gross prices incl. VAT) is published automatically upon submission, marked "price list provided by the company", in a separate section of the service pages. Company prices are not included in the price index median. The company is responsible for ensuring that prices are accurate and up to date; prices must be gross prices incl. VAT for consumers. The publisher may hide the price list if it is false, outdated, misleading, spam or unlawful, as well as at the company's request sent from the e-mail address provided in the entry.
  8. Users can see the company's telephone number and email address, if the company provided them and consented to their display, after entering their own email address and telephone number and consenting to receive marketing information from the relevant sector. The privacy policy explains how this data is processed.
  9. Submissions and company price lists are free of charge. Inclusion in the data, the order of sources and the median do not depend on any payments. Advertisements, if displayed, are labelled as advertising and separated from the data.

§5. Reporting content and making complaints

  1. Anyone can report an incorrect price or content that violates the law using the “Report” form or by e-mailing kontakt@indekscen.pl. The report should include the page address, a description of the issue and the reason for reporting it.
  2. The Publisher reviews reports without undue delay, no later than within 14 days, and informs the person who submitted the report (if they provided an e-mail address) of its decision and reasons.
  3. You may appeal the decision within 14 days by writing to kontakt@indekscen.pl.

§6. Liability

The Publisher makes every effort to ensure that the data is up to date and correctly attributed to its sources, but prices in the sources may change. The price stated by the contractor is always binding.

§7. Final provisions

The Publisher may amend the terms and conditions for valid reasons (changes in legislation or service features); amendments are published with 7 days' notice. Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law.
