The price index consists of cited public price lists per unit of service (PLN/procedure); customer reviews show amounts for entire jobs submitted via the ‘How much did you pay?’ form, with three verification levels (how we verify them); company price lists contain prices entered by the companies themselves. What affects the price
- type of implants: standard implants are cheaper than lightweight ones (e.g. Motiva), with the difference potentially reaching several thousand to over PLN 10,000
- city and clinic's reputation: clinics in large cities and well-known surgeons charge more for the procedure
- whether the price includes a pair of implants or these must be paid for separately (the implants alone usually cost PLN 3500-5700)
- additional combined procedures, such as a breast lift, increase the price by several thousand PLN
The evidence covers only the prices of implant surgery in Poland; breast lift surgery (mastopexy) in Turkey was excluded as a different procedure in a different country. Prices depend heavily on the clinic, city and type of implants.
Prices from customers and companies
Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists.
