Five sources with varying levels of reliability, deliberately kept separate so that declarations are not mixed with evidence. The price index consists of cited public price lists per unit of service (PLN); customer reviews show amounts for entire jobs submitted via the ‘How much did you pay?’ form, with three verification levels (how we verify them); company price lists contain prices entered by the companies themselves. Debt collection companies usually charge a commission on the amount recovered (ranging from several to several dozen per cent, with lower rates for higher amounts), rather than a fixed fee; the PLN amounts provided here are confirmed by evidence: the fee for initiating amicable debt collection and the court fee for filing a claim.
Prices from customers and companies
Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists. Customer entries have three reliability levels: ✓ verified: invoice or receipt (the editorial team has seen a document matching the entry), ✓ verified: declaration (the author confirmed the entry using a link sent by e-mail) and unverified (how we verify entries); we do not verify company price lists. Price lists entered by companies are not included in the median at the top of the page; customer amounts are included only for services priced as a complete service.

What is the debt collection fee?
Starting amicable debt collection proceedings (sending a demand for payment) usually costs around PLN 99 to PLN 500. If the case goes to court, there is also a court fee based on the value of the debt (e.g. PLN 30 for a claim of up to PLN 500).
