Five sources with varying levels of reliability, deliberately kept separate so that declarations are not mixed with evidence. The price index consists of cited public price lists per unit of service (PLN/cycle); customer reviews show amounts for entire jobs submitted via the ‘How much did you pay?’ form, with three verification levels (how we verify them); company price lists contain prices entered by the companies themselves. Price index as at: 28 September 2026; customer and company entries are updated continuously.

The data on private IVF prices in our evidence is scarce (most clinic websites required JavaScript), so the comparison is based on a small number of sources. A government reimbursement programme for couples meeting the criteria has also been operating since June 2024, but it is not included in these prices. Round 3 added one corroborating source (an IVF ICSI package at the InviMed clinic in Katowice, PLN 6500), which is close to the earlier prices for a standard cycle.
Prices from customers and companies
Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists. Customer entries have three reliability levels: ✓ verified: invoice or receipt (the editorial team has seen a document matching the entry), ✓ verified: declaration (the author confirmed the entry using a link sent by e-mail) and unverified (how we verify entries); we do not verify company price lists. Price lists entered by companies are not included in the median at the top of the page; customer amounts are included only for services priced as a complete service.

How much does 1 IVF transfer cost?
Embryo transfer as a separate procedure usually costs from around PLN 1200 to PLN 3000, depending on whether it is a fresh or frozen embryo transfer.
When is IVF free?
Since June 2024, a government IVF reimbursement programme has been available to couples who meet specific eligibility criteria. Our comparison covers private prices only, without reimbursement.
