- wood species: oak is the most expensive, ash and beech are mid-priced, pine and spruce are the cheapest
- type of structure: cantilevered stairs can be cheaper than closed-stringer stairs
- the balustrade is priced separately and can add PLN 2000 to 8000
- surface finish: oiling/waxing is cheaper than applying two coats of varnish
- size and geometry of the entire staircase (straight, winder or curved)

Usually PLN 200-900, depending on the type of wood: pine and spruce are at the lower end, and oak at the upper end.
How much do bespoke stairs from a joiner cost?
A complete set of bespoke wooden stairs usually costs PLN 9000-35 000, or even over PLN 50 000 for exotic wood or complex geometry.
What type of stairs is the cheapest?
Pine or spruce floating staircases are the cheapest, with each step costing from around PLN 200.
