indekscen.pl editorial team · published 30 September 2026 · prices according to the 5 October 2026 index
One go-kart session (6 to 8 minutes on the track) most commonly costs PLN 57 in Poland, and half of the price lists fall within PLN 51 ‑ 63. An hour of actual driving is about 8 sessions, or roughly PLN 460 per person (typically PLN 410 ‑ 500). Tracks rarely sell a full hour to one person: they charge per session or sell passes.
At a glance (as at 5 October 2026)
- One go-kart session on the track, lasting 6 to 8 minutes, usually costs PLN 51 ‑ 63.
- An hour of actual go-kart driving, or about 8 sessions, costs roughly PLN 460 per person.
- The cheapest go-kart sessions, usually shorter or intended for children, start at PLN 45, while the most expensive reach PLN 69.

- The median price of a go-kart session is based on 3 track price lists collected by indekscen.pl.

Go-karting is one of the easiest activities to arrange for a birthday party, stag do or company social, but track price lists can be difficult to compare. One track charges for a 6-minute session, another for 8 minutes, while a third sells passes and group packages. Below, we reduce these offers to a common measure: session prices from track price lists, converted into the cost of an hour of driving and a typical event.
How much does an hour of go-karting cost?
An hour of actual go-kart driving costs roughly PLN 460 per person, based on 8 sessions of about 7 minutes each, and typically PLN 410 ‑ 500. Tracks almost never sell a full hour to one person: their price lists are based on individual runs (sessions), with breaks between sessions to change drivers and rest.
In practice, an hour at the track usually includes 2 or 3 sessions interspersed with waiting, especially for a group. If you want plenty of driving time, a multi-session pass offers better value: the price per session then falls significantly below the median of PLN 57.
Go-karting price list: how much does one session cost?
According to 3 price lists collected by indekscen.pl, one go-kart session most commonly costs PLN 57, while half of the offers fall within PLN 51 ‑ 63. The cheapest sessions, from PLN 45, are usually shorter, lasting 6 minutes, or use children’s go-karts. At the upper end, prices reach PLN 69 for longer sessions on large indoor tracks.
Comparison of typical purchases at a track:
| What you buy | Estimated cost per person | Notes |

| 3 sessions | about PLN 170 | usually cheaper with a pass |
| One hour of driving (8 sessions) | about PLN 460 | typically PLN 410 ‑ 500 |

What affects the price of a go-kart session?
The price of a go-kart session depends primarily on its duration and how many sessions you buy at once. Other factors have less of an impact, but they are worth knowing before comparing tracks:
- Session duration. A 6-minute session and an 8-minute session differ by one third of the driving time. Always calculate the price per minute.
- Pass and number of sessions. The more sessions you buy at once, the lower the price per session.
- Type of go-kart. Tracks have separate go-karts for children, juniors and adults, and sometimes also offer faster, two-seater or electric models.
- Track and city. Large indoor tracks in shopping centres and halls usually charge more than small seasonal tracks.
- Day and time. Some tracks offer cheaper sessions on weekday mornings.
A driver card and balaclava (a thin cap worn under the helmet) may carry separate, small charges. Ask about these at the till before comparing prices.
How old do you need to be to go go-karting?
Most tracks allow children from a young age to use children’s go-karts, but height matters more than age: the child must be able to reach the pedals and sit securely in the seat. Price lists sometimes specify height thresholds, for example a separate price for people between 135 and 160 cm tall. Adult go-karts usually require drivers to be in their teens and meet the minimum height requirement, while minors need parental consent.
A junior session costs about the same as an adult session, within PLN 51 ‑ 63, although children’s sessions may be shorter. Check the restrictions on your chosen track’s website before visiting, as they vary between venues.
How much does a go-karting birthday party cost?
A birthday party for 10 children, with two sessions each, costs about PLN 1,100 for the sessions alone (typically PLN 1,000 ‑ 1,300). Tracks also offer birthday packages with a party room, refreshments and certificates, with prices depending on the number of guests and how long the room is hired for.
Example event budgets for different groups:
| Group | Sessions per person | Cost of sessions only |
|---|---|---|
| 6 people | 2 | about PLN 680 |
| 10 people | 2 | about PLN 1,100 |
| 10 people | 3 | about PLN 1,700 |
| 20 people (company) | 2 | about PLN 2,300 |
For company events, tracks usually offer a mini Grand Prix comprising practice, qualifying and a timed race. This is more convenient than individual sessions, and the price is calculated for the group.
Go-karting, paintball, an escape room or quad bikes: which is cheaper?
Paintball is usually the cheapest option per person: admission with a paintball package costs about 45 PLN/person according to price lists, less than one go-kart session (PLN 57). An escape room costs about PLN 200 per game, but this price covers the whole room, so for a group of 4 the cost per person is roughly the same as one go-kart session. Quad bikes are the most expensive: quad bike hire has a median price of 250 PLN/h for one vehicle.
- paintball: low admission cost, but extra paintballs increase the bill.
- escape room: the price is per room, offering good value with a full group.
- Go-karting: you pay for each session, making it easy to plan a per-person budget.
- Quad bikes: for a smaller group, off-road and more expensive with a guide.

How much does go-karting cost in Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław?
We do not yet have local go-karting medians for individual cities: the prices we have collected come from individual tracks in different parts of Poland, including Łódź and Poznań. The national median of PLN 57 is also a useful benchmark in Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław. The largest cities have several indoor tracks, so it is worth comparing at least two price lists and calculating the price per minute of driving.
What happens during a track visit and how long does it take?
A visit to a go-kart track usually lasts from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, although the actual driving takes only several minutes. At the venue, the process is as follows:
- Registration and declaration. You agree to the track rules, with a parent signing for minors.
- Safety briefing. Staff explain the flags, overtaking rules and braking.
- Helmet and balaclava. The track provides a helmet, but you may need to buy a balaclava separately.
- Session. From 6 to 8 minutes of driving, with every lap timed.
- Results. Most tracks print or send lap times, turning the activity into a race when you visit as a group.
Wear comfortable clothes and closed, flat-soled shoes. Long hair and scarves must be tucked away, as they could become caught in the go-kart’s moving parts.
How can you avoid overpaying for go-karting?
- Calculate the price per minute. An 8-minute session at the upper end of the price range may offer better value than a 6-minute session at the lower end.
- Buy a pass if you plan to drive more than once. Tracks reward customers who buy several sessions at once with a lower price per session.
- Ask about weekdays. Morning and afternoon sessions during the week are often cheaper than at weekends.
- Check additional charges. A driver card, balaclava or group track reservation is not always included in the session price.
- Set a session limit for an event. It is easy for a group to add another round, with each one costing about PLN 57 per person.
