Ozone therapy appears on the price lists of aesthetic medicine clinics, rehabilitation practices and facilities specialising in so-called integrative medicine. Each uses slightly different names for its treatments, which can make offers difficult to compare. We have collected prices from public price lists and explain what you are paying for, how much a full course costs and how ozone therapy compares with other private treatments.

How much does ozone therapy cost in 2026?

In 2026, a single ozone therapy treatment most often costs PLN 255, according to 4 facility price lists collected by indekscen.pl, while the typical range is PLN 225 ‑ 265. The lowest price we found is PLN 150, and the highest is PLN 280. The spread is therefore narrow compared with many other healthcare services.

Some facilities list prices as starting ‘from’ a given amount because the final cost is only determined after a medical consultation. The price then depends on the method and scope of treatment selected for the individual patient. Details and quotations from price lists are available on the ozone therapy page.

What is ozone therapy and what types of treatment are available?

Ozone therapy is a method in which a mixture of oxygen and ozone is administered into the body or applied to the skin. Price lists include several forms of the treatment, each involving a different amount of work:

  1. Blood ozonation (ozone autohaemotherapy). Blood is drawn, mixed with ozone and administered back into the bloodstream. This treatment is the benchmark for our median of PLN 255.
  2. An ozonated preparation administered intravenously, such as an electrolyte solution. In the price lists collected, it costs about the same as blood ozonation.
  3. Local treatments, for example on one or two limbs, joints or wounds. The price depends on the area treated.
  4. ENT treatments, such as ozone treatment for the ear or sinus irrigation. Facilities usually recommend longer courses for these procedures.

An intravenous treatment usually takes longer than a local one because it involves drawing blood, preparing the mixture and administering it. Some facilities also add a medical assessment fee. Facilities quote prices for individual treatments. Whether a discounted course package is available depends on the particular practice, so it is worth asking before your first appointment.

How much does intravenous ozone therapy cost?

Intravenous ozone therapy, meaning blood ozonation or an ozonated preparation administered by infusion, usually costs PLN 225 ‑ 265 per treatment. This is the form of ozone therapy most commonly priced in the collected price lists, which is why the median of PLN 255 refers specifically to it. The treatment requires venous access and equipment for preparing the mixture, so it is performed by medical staff.

How much does a full course of ozone therapy cost?

A course of ozone therapy costs the number of treatments multiplied by the price of one treatment, as the facilities in the collected price lists do not provide separate package prices. At the median price, the costs are as follows:

Number of treatments Cost at the median price Typical range
5 treatments about PLN 1,300 PLN 1,100 ‑ 1,300
10 treatments about PLN 2,600 PLN 2,300 ‑ 2,700
15 treatments about PLN 3,800 PLN 3,400 ‑ 4,000

For sinus irrigation, facilities usually recommend 10 to 15 treatments. The number and frequency of appointments are determined by a doctor, so before starting therapy, ask how many treatments are planned and whether the initial consultation is charged separately.

Ozone therapy in Warsaw: prices and differences between cities

We do not yet include ozone therapy prices for individual cities in the index because too few price lists have been collected to calculate local medians. The nationwide median is PLN 255, while the PLN 225 ‑ 265 range covers facilities in various regions. The quoted price lists suggest that differences between cities are smaller than those between treatment types.

If you are looking for ozone therapy in Warsaw, Kraków or Katowice, compare the price of the same treatment, such as blood ozonation, at several practices rather than comparing the general term ‘ozone therapy’. Treatments with different scopes may be listed under the same name.

Ozone therapy, vitamin drips and acupuncture: how much does each cost?

A single ozone therapy treatment costs roughly the same as a vitamin drip and slightly more than an acupuncture session. All three services are usually paid for privately and administered as a course, so comparing the price of one appointment provides a good indication of the overall expense.

vitamin IV drip has the widest price range: from PLN 50 for a basic infusion to PLN 500 for a more complex formulation. An acupuncture session typically costs PLN 120 ‑ 200 (full price list: acupuncture), and the recommended course usually comprises 10 to 12 treatments. For comparison, private physiotherapist appointment most often costs PLN 180.

Price should not be the only consideration when choosing a therapy. A doctor assesses whether each treatment is appropriate. We discuss massages and their prices separately in the article how much does an hour of massage cost.

What can ozone therapy help with, and what are its drawbacks?

Facilities offer ozone therapy for conditions including back and joint pain, slow-healing wounds, and sinus and ear infections. The effectiveness of ozone therapy for many of these indications is still being studied and is not always well documented, so it is advisable to decide on treatment together with your doctor.

Drawbacks of ozone therapy to consider when calculating the cost include:

  • Cost of a course. A single treatment costs PLN 225 ‑ 265, but therapy usually involves multiple appointments.
  • No NFZ coverage in the collected price lists: you pay the full cost yourself.
  • Venous access for intravenous treatments, with the usual minor effects such as bruising at the injection site.
  • Varying standards between facilities. Intravenous treatments should be approved by a doctor and performed by qualified medical staff.

Ozone therapy contraindications: what should you ask before treatment?

Contraindications to ozone therapy are assessed by a doctor during the eligibility assessment, so a reputable facility will begin with a medical history rather than proceeding directly to treatment. We do not provide a list of contraindications as medical advice. If you are pregnant or have a blood, thyroid or heart condition, consult your doctor before paying for a course.

Before your first appointment, it is worth asking the facility a few questions:

  1. Is the medical assessment included in the treatment price or charged separately?
  2. What exactly does the quoted treatment include, and how long does it take?
  3. How many treatments are planned for the course, and is a package price available?
  4. Who performs the treatment, and does the facility have appropriate medical facilities?

Ozone therapy compared with ozonating rooms and cars

Ozone therapy is a medical treatment, while ozonating a flat or car disinfects objects and the air and is carried out with no one present. For example, ozone treatment of a flat for an area of up to 50 m² usually costs PLN 275 ‑ 395, while ozonating a car interior costs about PLN 66. The only thing these services have in common is the gas used: indoors, ozone eliminates odours, bacteria and mould, and after treatment the premises must be aired before people and animals return. Read more about the latter in the article car ozonation: price.

You can find more prices for private treatments and tests in the health category. Unlike other price lists, we provide a median based on several facilities rather than a single price, together with the lowest and highest rates and the cost of a full course.

The prices in this article come from public facility price lists and articles. Each price has a source, date and verbatim quotation on the service page.
