Luxury car hire for a weekend: 2026 prices and comparison

indekscen.pl editorial team · published 30 September 2026 · prices according to the 5 October 2026 index

Hiring a luxury or sports car for a weekend costs around PLN 700 in Poland for a two or three-day package. A single day usually costs 435 PLN/day (typically 340 ‑ 565 PLN/day) for an entry-level premium model, and considerably more for supercars. Fuel, the deposit and additional insurance are usually not included.

A luxury car for the weekend is a popular gift, a way to celebrate an anniversary or simply an opportunity to drive a car you would not buy. Hire company prices vary because some quote a daily rate, others a weekend package, and some advertise a price ‘from’ for the cheapest model. We organise the costs based on public price lists from premium and sports car hire companies.

How much does it cost to hire a luxury car for a weekend?

Hiring a luxury car for a weekend costs around PLN 700 for a package covering two or three days. This is usually less than three individual days because hire companies offer discounts for longer bookings. A weekend package usually includes collection on Friday and return on Sunday or Monday morning.

If the hire company does not offer a package, the daily rate applies: luxury or sports car hire has a median of 435 PLN/day per day, according to 3 price lists collected by indekscen.pl. Three days then cost around PLN 1,300 (typically PLN 1,000 ‑ 1,700).

Median and typical range from public price lists, as at 5 October 2026. Each price includes a source and quotation on the service page.

How much does it cost to hire a sports car for a day?

Hiring a sports car for one day usually costs 340 ‑ 565 PLN/day. The cheapest offers, from 250 PLN/day per day, apply to compact sports cars such as the Audi TT. Popular high-powered models, such as the BMW M2, cost around the median, while the upper end of the collected price lists is 699 PLN/day per day for bookings of one to four days.

The most expensive cars, such as the Porsche 911, Aston Martin, Lamborghini or Ferrari, are usually priced on request, and their daily rates are many times higher. We do not provide a median for them because public price lists contain too few specific rates.

Luxury car, standard car or limousine: price comparison

A luxury car costs several times more per day than a standard hire car. The median daily rate is 84 PLN/day for a city or compact car and 435 PLN/day for a premium or sports car. A limousine with a driver is a different service: you pay by the hour, usually 425 ‑ 500 PLN/hour, but you do not have to drive.

Median and typical range from public price lists, as at 5 October 2026. Each price includes a source and quotation on the service page.

How much does it cost to hire a luxury wedding car?

Hiring a luxury wedding car usually costs the same as a day’s hire, or 340 ‑ 565 PLN/day, if the groom or a family member drives. If a driver is required, a limousine provides a better comparison: a full-day wedding package costs around PLN 1,250, including car decorations.

Rolls-Royces, Bentleys and classic wedding cars form a separate market, with prices quoted individually. Their prices are provided by wedding transport companies, usually with a driver and decorations included in the package. What is not included in the luxury car hire price?

The luxury car hire price covers the car itself for the duration of the booking, and some offers include delivery to a specified address. The following are usually charged separately:

1. Fuel. Sports cars use a lot of fuel and must be returned with a full tank.
2. Deposit. This is around PLN 1,000 for standard cars and considerably more for premium cars, with the amount blocked on a credit card.
3. Additional insurance. This reduces the excess payable for damage, which can be high for luxury cars.
4. Mileage allowance. The package includes a limit, with an additional charge for every kilometre above it.
5. Delivery and collection away from the hire company’s premises or outside office hours.

What affects the cost of hiring a luxury car?

The cost of hiring a luxury car depends primarily on the model: a compact sports car costs several times less than a supercar. Other factors include:

• Hire period. A weekend package or longer booking reduces the daily rate.
• Season. Prices are highest in summer, especially in August, while discounts are easier to find out of season.
• City. Premium car hire companies operate mainly in large cities, where the choice is greatest.
• Package type. Daily, weekend and monthly hire have separate price lists.

What requirements must you meet to hire a sports car?

To hire a sports or luxury car, you usually need to be at least 25 years old and have held a category B driving licence for at least two or three years. For the most powerful models, hire companies raise the minimum age and driving experience requirements. They may also require a credit card rather than a debit card because the deposit is blocked on it. The requirements are set out in the terms and conditions, which are worth reading before booking because being refused the car at collection wastes time and often means losing your booking deposit.

Before signing the agreement, also check:

• whether the car may be taken abroad and whether this carries an additional charge,
• whether the agreement prohibits driving on a racing circuit or taking part in motoring events,
• who may drive, as an additional driver may incur a charge,
• the rules for late returns, as another day that has already begun is usually charged in full.

Luxury car hire as a gift: a full day or a driving experience?

Hiring a luxury car for a day or weekend is a different gift from a supercar driving experience voucher. With a hire car, the recipient can drive it on public roads for around 435 PLN/day per day, but must meet the hire company’s requirements and provide a deposit. A driving experience provides several or a dozen or so minutes behind the wheel, often on a racing circuit, with an instructor alongside, without a deposit or minimum driving experience requirement.

If the recipient has limited driving experience or no credit card, a driving experience voucher is the safer choice. If they simply want to enjoy driving an attractive car on a weekend trip, a weekend package for around PLN 700 will be better.

How can you hire a luxury car without overpaying?

• Compare the weekend package with the daily rate. A package costing PLN 700 may be cheaper than three individual days.
• Check the damage excess. This is the amount you must pay if the car is damaged, even with insurance.
• Photograph the car when collecting it and check the condition of the tyres, wheels and paintwork.
• Ask about the mileage allowance before planning your route.
• Book out of season. Discounts and available dates are easier to find in spring and autumn.
