The first school ID card is free. A fee is charged only for a duplicate if the card is lost or damaged, and the statutory fee is PLN 9.

How long does it take to obtain a school ID card?
A duplicate ID card is usually issued within a maximum of 3 working days, and in justified cases even on the same day.
