What affects the price
- the value of the donated property (the notarial fee increases progressively with the value, according to the maximum rates)
- family relationship: an additional 50% discount on the fee applies to immediate family
- number of copies of the notarial deed (additional cost, usually PLN 150-200 for 2-3 copies)
- the actual value of the donated property: for a flat worth PLN 500,000, the total notarial cost is already around PLN 2,000-4,000

The notary's fee for a gift depends on the value of the donated asset and increases progressively; a 50% discount applies to immediate family. Separately from the fee, the recipient may be required to pay gift tax, depending on the kinship group and tax-free allowance. This is a tax, not a fee for notarial services.

The charges mainly comprise the notarial fee (which increases with the value of the gift, for example PLN 100 for a value of up to PLN 3,000, before any 50% discount for immediate family), additional copies of the deed (usually PLN 150-200), and any gift tax depending on the relationship group.
