Five sources with varying levels of reliability, deliberately kept separate so that declarations are not mixed with evidence. The price index consists of cited public price lists per unit of service (PLN/hearing); customer reviews show amounts for entire jobs submitted via the ‘How much did you pay?’ form, with three verification levels (how we verify them); company price lists contain prices entered by the companies themselves. Price index as at: 28 September 2026; customer and company entries are updated continuously.

What affects the price
- whether the mediation is court-ordered (rates set by regulation) or private (the mediator's price list)
- the value of the subject matter of the dispute (in property cases, the fee is 1% of this value)
- number of mediation sessions
- type of case: property, child maintenance or child contact
- additional costs: room hire (up to PLN 70 per session), correspondence (up to PLN 30)
- from 17 February 2026, a Ministry of Justice regulation increased court mediation rates (including from 1% to 2% of the value of the dispute)

In court cases, mediators' fees are governed by a regulation; in private (out-of-court) mediation, mediators set their own rates in their price lists. From 17 February 2026, a new regulation of the Minister of Justice increased mediators' fees: in non-property cases from PLN 150/100 to PLN 300/200 per session, and in property cases up to PLN 200 thousand from 1% (PLN 150-2000) to 2% of the value in dispute (PLN 300-4000); in cases above PLN 200 thousand, the rate is PLN 4000 plus 1% of the excess, up to a maximum of PLN 8000. Court rates from before 17.02.2026 (PLN 150/100 per session) were removed from the comparison as outdated.
Prices from customers and companies
Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists. Customer entries have three reliability levels: ✓ verified: invoice or receipt (the editorial team has seen a document matching the entry), ✓ verified: declaration (the author confirmed the entry using a link sent by e-mail) and unverified (how we verify entries); we do not verify company price lists. Price lists entered by companies are not included in the median at the top of the page; customer amounts are included only for services priced as a complete service.

What are the court fees for mediation?
Since 17 February 2026, in property-related disputes, the mediator's fee has been 2% of the value of the subject matter of the dispute (from PLN 300 to PLN 4000 for the entire proceedings up to PLN 200 thousand, and above this amount PLN 4000 plus 1% of the excess, up to a maximum of PLN 8000). In non-property disputes, it is PLN 300 for the first session and PLN 200 for each subsequent session, up to a total of PLN 900. The previous, lower rates (PLN 150/100) applied until 16 February 2026.
