What affects the price
- scope of the power of attorney: for one action or multiple matters
- whether the deed must be drawn up outside the notary's office (additional fee for the notary's travel)
- number of copies of the deed for individual persons
- whether the power of attorney will subsequently be submitted to a public authority (additional stamp duty)
- type of power of attorney: for a single transaction (PLN 30 net (excl. VAT) notarial fee) or general / for the sale of property (PLN 100 net (excl. VAT) notarial fee)

In addition to the stamp duty (PLN 17, charged only when the power of attorney is submitted to an authority), the notary charges their own fee: PLN 30 net (excl. VAT) for a power of attorney covering one act, or PLN 100 net (excl. VAT) for a general power of attorney or one covering the sale of property, plus VAT and the cost of certified copies.

Is stamp duty payable on a notarised power of attorney?
If the power of attorney is subsequently submitted to a public authority, a stamp duty of PLN 17 is added, independently of the notary's fee.
How much does a notary charge for a power of attorney?
The notary's fee is PLN 30 net (excl. VAT) for a power of attorney covering one act, or PLN 100 net (excl. VAT) for a general power of attorney or one covering the sale of property, plus 23% VAT; the cost of copies of the deed is charged separately.
