How much does private health insurance cost?
Private health insurance usually costs between PLN 40 and PLN 350 per month. The simplest packages start at around PLN 36 to PLN 55, while mid-range packages cost PLN 150 to PLN 250 per month according to Vivigo.
Is it better to have private health insurance or use the NFZ?
A private policy provides faster access to doctors and tests, but should be treated as a supplement to NFZ (Polish public health insurance), not a replacement.
