Drilling prices depend on the type of ground; in difficult rocky terrain, the rate may rise to as much as PLN 500 per linear metre.

Is a deep well worthwhile?
For a house far from the water supply network, constructing a private water connection may cost as much as PLN 200 per linear metre, so in such cases a deep well is much more cost-effective.
