| removal of the old covering (excluding asbestos) | 4 ‑ 50 PLN/m² | Budmat, swissporton.pl |
What affects the price
- type of roofing (ceramic tiles are more expensive than metal roof tiles or trapezoidal sheet metal)
- complexity of the roof shape (dormers, chimneys, number of roof planes)
- region of Poland (roofers' rates vary between voivodeships)
- presence of asbestos requiring specialist disposal
- need to replace the roof structure
Usually included in the price
- removal and disposal of the old covering
- installation of battens, counter-battens and membrane
- installation of new covering
Usually charged separately
- roof truss replacement (additional charge)
- asbestos disposal if the roof is made of asbestos cement sheets
- guttering and sheet-metal work in cheaper options
The price depends greatly on the type of roofing and scope of work, whether replacing only the covering or also the roof structure.
Prices from customers and companies
Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists. Customer entries have three reliability levels: ✓ verified: invoice or receipt (the editorial team has seen a document matching the entry), ✓ verified: declaration (the author confirmed the entry using a link sent by e-mail) and unverified (how we verify entries); we do not verify company price lists. Price lists entered by companies are not included in the median at the top of the page; customer amounts are included only for services priced as a complete service.
