The price index consists of cited public price lists per unit of service (% of rent); customer reviews show amounts for entire jobs submitted via the ‘How much did you pay?’ form, with three verification levels (how we verify them); company price lists contain prices entered by the companies themselves. The commission is usually calculated as a percentage of the monthly rent. Some companies charge it only for months when the flat is actually rented out (success fee), while others also charge a fixed minimum fee or subscription.
Prices from customers and companies
Two types of entries: customers state how much they paid for the entire job and rate the contractor; service providers enter their price lists. Customer entries have three reliability levels: ✓ verified: invoice or receipt (the editorial team has seen a document matching the entry), ✓ verified: declaration (the author confirmed the entry using a link sent by e-mail) and unverified (how we verify entries); we do not verify company price lists. Price lists entered by companies are not included in the median at the top of the page; customer amounts are included only for services priced as a complete service.
